Allocation of judges and scheduling: The Purina Pro Plan National Dog Show Committee reserves the right to re-allocate judges and alter the scheduled order of judging should circumstances require.
Obedience and Rally-O timings on each event day are subject to change depending on entry numbers
Trophies: An extensive range of ribbons, cups and prizes will be offered for competition.
Exhibitors Timetable: Will be emailed out and available on the Dogs New Zealand website.

Manfeild Stadium Set-up
We will have a six-ring show setup at the Manfeild indoor venue to accommodate the NDS / Prelude / Dog Training / Satellite shows. this will reduce to four rings for NDS Best-in-Show day on Saturday 7 September 2024.
Crates are only permitted in the grooming areas. Dogs may only enter the ring area prior to their breed judging and must leave after judging. Trolleys are permitted in the relevant holding ring while the breed is being judged.
Grooming Spaces during NDS
Grooming spaces (1.5sqm) are available at $20 per day and must be prebooked using the on-line show entry programme.
Car Parking Spaces
Free Car Parking: Manfeild Stadiums has over 600 car parks which are available at no charge to exhibitors and guests
Day visit camping vans & trailer vehicles will be able to park in a dedicated zone. To ensure adequate spaces please contact Lynley Bray lynleybray@ xtra.co.nz with the show days you will be attending.
Disabled Car parking: There are a limited number of disabled parking that can be reserved by contacting Lynley Bray lynleybray@xtra.co.nz
Drop off zone is available at Manfeild Stadium on the western side of the venue which will allow members to access the grooming areas.
Camping During the NDS
- Camping sites are available, and must be pre-booked by contacting Lynley Bray lynleybray@xtra.co.nz
- Powered Sites $20 per head, per day.
- Non-Powered sites $15 per head, per day
- A grass zone has been set aside for Tent camping which can be booked @ $15 per head, per day.
- Onsite shower facilities are available.
- Children under the age of 16 are free of charge but Lynley Bray must be notified of numbers, lynleybray@xtra.co.nz
Vehicles are prohibited from discharging grey waste on the property. A dump station and water replenishment are available nearby.
Catering
Indoor coffee carts will be available during the daytime. Catering trucks, along with an undercover seating area, will be situated at main entry.

Obedience Team Competition for the Carmele Cindy Trophy
Competition
- Any Dog Training Club recognised under Dogs New Zealand Rules 8, 9, 10 & 11 may compete for the trophy
Team Competition
- A team shall comprise three handlers and dogs competing in three separate tests.
- Teams to be notified to the NDS Dog Training Show Manager before commencement of the first day of the Dog Training section of the show.
- No dog may compete in more than one team.
- A handler may compete in more than one team provided it is with a different dog
Calculation of Points
- Points will be allocated to each handler according to their placing in the nominated Test i.e. 1st - 1 point, 2nd - 2 points and so on.
- The points gained by each of the three handlers are added to form a team total.
- The winning team is the team with the lowest total of points.
- In the event of a tie, the team with the highest overall percentage of total points in each test will be declared the winner.
