Venue

Manfeild Park Stadium set-up for the National Dog Show.

Six-ring format

The show will be running a six-ring format. Dogs and trolleys are allowed in the relevant holding rings while the breed is being judged.

Respecting the venue

  • No dog is allowed into the toilet or shower buildings; breaches may result in disqualification from the show.
  • Please clean up after your dog; a fine of $50 may be imposed for breaches.
  • Cameras may be operating on site.

Grooming spaces

Paid grooming spots (1.5×1.5 m) are for the full length of the National show event (Thursday–Saturday) and can be booked with your entries at dogsnz.org.nz.

Exhibitors are welcome to leave equipment in grooming spaces overnight at their own risk — the building will be locked at night.

There is a limited amount of free grooming space with limited visibility of the show arena, on a first-come basis.

Grooming allocation maps will be published on the NDS Facebook page.

Grooming spaces for Sunday satellite shows are free. Exhibitors are not required to move from their allocated spots.

Parking & camping

Car parking

Free carparking is available on a sealed flat area. A limited number of disabled parks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Camping

Camping is available and can be booked with entries. Limited powered sites are available. Once camping is booked and paid via the entry system, Lynley Bray will work on site allocations. Onsite showers and toilets are provided.

Catering is available within the stadium during the day.
